5 wishes before I die

Everyone has some dream and goal to be accomplished in life. But time and conditions does not permit to get everything in life. There are lot of factors which acts a breaker and stop us from achieving and completing our dreams. There are financial factors which are money and income which matters the most as nothing comes for free in our life. Then the family situation and conditions based on our social status, income and requirements. I am born in middle income family and there are family responsibilities and many other things which restrict me to complete my dream. There are certain priorities which have taken over my dreams but no matter like everyone, no one can stop me from dreaming or thinking about my dreams. If I had access to lot of financial support and money plus no liabilities from family, then my 5 wishes which I want to complete from going to heaven would be –

  1. Buy myself a rented space in Delhi City Walk mall and run my designer boutique there and display my clothes and accessories.
  2. My second wish would be go to Disneyland with family. I would love to travel to the place where my children can have fun and also it would be like a dream come true.
  3. My third wish would be lean to become a professional scuba diver in Maldives. I always like swimming but never got opportunity to try going inside the water and so scuba diving is perfect for me to explore marine life.
  4. I would learn to fly aeroplanes. I thought in childhood to become a pilot and fly big planes or fighter jets. I could not fulfil my dream due to financial issues. But if I have money, I would try to learn flying.
  5. I would buy a new house as my children are growing and now I need more space and would love to move into my house instead of rented one.

I pray to God if I am able to fulfil all before I die.

Giving Wings and Fighting the Odds

In past ten years a lot have changed but during our times when I was a girl, it was very difficult to even think of studying after school and complete graduation. I saw myself many of my friends got married in their early age before completing the education and entered into family life. In those times, it was very difficult to even think or ask parents directly and most of the times, our role was defined within the walls of the house. I always had a fear that if I would have the same fate as my other friends or would give a chance to at least completes my education. Then there were issues with my grandparents who always wanted me to get married as soon as possible and this decision was supported by my long distance relatives. It was very difficult at times to even study at homes because they would keep me busy in household chores and cooking stuff. Though I consider it equally important to perform the household chores but this was not the ultimate thing.

I had a dream to do fashion designing course and start my own boutique but it was not so easy for me. Then one day just when my father came back from office, I decided to take the bold step and see him and talk about my way of thinking and tell my wish of studying further to him. My father listened to me for more than an hour and took so many factors into consideration before finally giving me the green signal. I could see his expression as he would have to face everyone but I felt proud that my father became my strength and gave me support. All credit goes to him and I feel that was the day which is turning point of my life.

Celebrating Moments-Reviving My old Hobbies

Hobbies are left behind as we grow up in our life. They are days when we are busy and cannot find time for ourselves.I always have a regret in life about concentrating too much on studies and give less time to other important activities in life.I remember during my childhood when I had freedom to express myself and do anything I wanted to do.I would paint my walls and did some silly things and would maintain a scrap book of different colors and in summer holidays,I would draw different sceneries and paint then and post it on my room wall.I would love when people and guests coming to my house would appreciate my efforts and reward me with gifts and colors.

Now the time has changed and I have grown old and much responsible but now I would like to revive my interest in my hobbies again as before.Life is very much stable and settled now a day and my children are studying and everything seem to be going smooth as it should be.So now I am planning to join some art class on weekend for learning painting art in detail and also seek help from music teacher who can help me play my grandfather harmonium.I also had interest in collection of stamps and coins and made an album with coins from different countries.I guess this is perfect way to begin and open the closed cupboard again and see my collection and add more stamps to it.Knitting sweaters for my children is also a good time pass and being a house wife,I plan to utilize my time in making some good designs and knit clothes too.

Time never stops and it is right time to change my priorities in life and celebrate my old moments by reviving my hobbies.

My Moments of Success and Love

It is good to enjoy sucess in life.We all know that life is full of ups and downs. No one can get a smooth ride in life and we have to go through tough and challenging times in life. There is no success in life without working hard and taking shortcuts never help in long journey and bring success and fame for a short time.I had good moments in my life and days when I felt like breaking apart and disappointed. It was my family which was responsible for my success and celebrating the happy hours and also supported me in worst times in my life.My family plays key role and have to give huge credit for bringing me today.

My moments of success are not every much big but still I am proud to tell everyone about it and the best part is that my family is proud of my work.My first moment came very early in my childhood when I stood first and got good marks in the third standard. Then my passion for art helped me to create some good paintings which gave me many medals in school painting competition.I was not good in sports but still won a bronze medal in swimming competition.I was good in studies but somehow felt lost in middle years and could not grasp easily and lost focus. But it was my parents who put their efforts so that I could learn and gave me confidence. Then after my schooling,my success was when I won inter debate competition in my college. The best moment of my life was when I completed my studies and got an offer to work for a company as customer relation manager.Getting my first salary and going for shopping with parents and then dinner was the best day of my life.

Clean Shave and be Brave!

It is all in the end personality which matters the most in the life.It just takes a single appearance and look to make first good impression in front of anyone else.Today with this post I would like to tell about how much is importance for men to shave their stubble look and come clean. Before my marriage,I got many offers and rejected many of them just for a simple reason that they did not shave and had weird look.I am honest to share that most of the girls always prefer boys who look smart and have clean face. With beard and long hair,it is sometimes difficult to know about the exact face of the person and after all, marriage is a very important decision in everyone life and we cannot take chances at all.

Stubble is always trouble and people who do not shave are on loosing side most of the times. They are considered as lazy and hard personality.Sometimes,I do not understand how can anyone go to face the interview of his life without shave and then blame his bad luck for not getting shortlisted or get hired for a job.As an HR person or employer, they are looking for people who have good personality and smart. No doubt knowledge and content is important but you need to first look presentable.I would always say that first point of preparing for the interview is check yourself in front of mirror and get rid of your stubble. Also,I have seen people with clean shave automatically have more confidence and looks energetic and active.I would suggest every men to remove their stubble and if not, then at least give it a stylish look,so that it looks great.

In  the end,I would add that clean face will give you extra brownie points and little edge in all situations. So remember to shave and remove stubble.

My father :Role Model and Mentor!

All credit goes to my dad and family for being support to me in every form of my life.He is one who never discriminated me from my brother and gave me equal support like him and always encouraged me to perform well and get success in my life.He stood like a pillar and gave me stability and made me mentally tough and strong in times when my confidence was shaky and I felt I would not be able to achieve my goals in my life.He has done everything for our family and took the extra burden and worked for extra hours just to fulfill my childhood wishes. He is the best dad in the world and no one can be like him who can give me unconditional love and support.

Right from the childhood,he has held my hand and shown me the way to take the right path and make right decision in my life.He is a source of my great knowledge and his childhood stories still motivate me and give me motivation to give something back to this society and help those people who really need blessings and do not have resources in their life.My father hard work and dedication to his duty has won him several awards and recommendation from his company and everyone respect him for his contribution to the company and likes him due to his peace and calm nature.

I always want to be like him and earn respect like him.No matter how much success I get in my life,my father is always behind me pushing me to my limit and giving me momentum to achieve more.I can only wish him a long life journey and may all his wishes come true and I get a chance to live with him forever.Thank you dad for everything and I am proud of you.

Holi Celebrations

Holi is something I love to celebrate since my childhood.I love the color we throw at each other and try to throw colorful water on every one without thinking much about any thing. The people also enjoy getting wet on this day and dance and having drinks.I enjoy the home made sweets my mother makes for this special occassion. It is so awesome to have holiday on this day and relax plus go into childhood stage once again.Holi gives me the freedom and power to cheer myself and close ones.

Holi is known as festival of colors and people celebrate in their own way.The best holi is celebreated in Mathura and in the village where hindu god was born. This year too I had great fun with my family and many relatives came to my home.We had great get together and bonding with each other while painting each other with all kinds of colors and stuff. Then my brother started the holi famous songs from the audio player and we all were dancing for hours.

Later on in the afternoon,we were really tired but it was such a great day.I got the blessing of my grandparents too and I consider this festival as the best festival where we can play with colors with anyone without any discrimination of sex, caste or religion. We can restart and give new lease to our old relationships and this festival helps to get close to our family members.

painting entire villages, towns, and cities a myriad of intense colours. Many will be calling out this traditional Holi greeting:

My travel diary : Cousin Marriage

I am going to start with my travel experience with my cousin marriage experience few weeks back in december. It is so much fun and entertainment to attend Indian wedding and nothing beats the experience when you get to dance and be an important guest and you get all the attention from the host and other relatives. The atmosphere is so relaxing and postive plus you get to meet all the people at the single place itself and all the long distance relatives too.

The occasion was my cousin sister nephew marriage and it was in Delhi. It came as a surprise news to me when I heard about it as I felt it was just another day when I saw him going to school.Someone has said the truth that time passes very fast in life.I felt so happy about it and excited to prepare my clothes and buy new jewellery for the wedding. The invitation card came and it was just after a week of getting the news that we had to leave for delhi for attending the wedding ceramony.Everything happened so fast and quick that we had to take holiday break from office and run through the market to get ourselves some good outfits and matching accessories for different wedding ceramonies.

We decided to hire a cab to go to delhi as we had lot of stuff and carrying more than two suitcase was not possible in the train. We reached their house one day before and had a warm welcome by all the relatives. Then at night,we had full on entertainment and fun with dance on bollywood songs. It was a great atmosphere and we were tired after enjoying the late night event for 4 hours.
