Visiting Taj Mahal

I had a dream to see all Indian monuments which were displayed in my History and Geography textbooks when I was in school.Though my school did take me some of the famous places in delhi like Qutub Minar,Nehru Planetarium,Akbar tomb and many more but it was all close to our school.I was always fasinated to see the one of the wonders of the world,Taj Mahal built in the memory of Mumtaz Mahal by the great Indian emperor Shah Jahan.I had a wish to see the monument myself and also buy a momento which I can keep it to myself in my room. But it was not in my luck and I could not see the monument in my childhood.I remember my father had promised once to take me to Taj Mahal during my vacation breaks but due to official job tour,it could not be possible for him.Another time,it was weekend and everthing was set and we had covered almost more than half of route and reached Mathura but then there was political unrest in that area and national highway was closed and hence we had to return back home.I remember crying and feeling disappointed in such a situation.

Then the time went and I was busy in studies and my life and there was no point and excitement left to see the Taj Mahal. But now after many years, few weeks back,my small kid asked me about Taj Mahal and its story. It brought me the old memories and this time I did realize to fulfill my old dream and does not want history to repeat itself. So my family decided for a weekend trip to Taj Mahal and booked railway tickets to Agra.next day we reached Agra railway station and had great time having breakfast near Taj Mahal and then quickly moved to get the entry ticket to Taj Mahal.

Once we entered the main gate and saw the Taj Mahal,it was like out of world experience and the Taj Mahal was like a shining marble. We clicked some pictures and then spent around three hours covering the monument.I could now relate myself with stuff from textbooks and was a perfect guide for my child.

It was an awesome experience and I would visit again in the future.

Travelling to Dehradun on Wheels

I have been going to dehradun as my relatives lives there and I love to have a weekend get together with them every season once a year.It is so much fun to visit them with my family and enjoying each other company. The best thing is that we do not have to pay or rent any accomodation plus pay for food and we can still enjoy family vacation without spending a penny from our pocket.

Dehradun is like a second home to me and everytime I am there,I make sure to visit Haridwar to have holy dip in the Ganga river. Most of the time,we visit during the summer vacation of my children when whether is hot but it is so much of fun to have bath in cold water.Last summer,we decided to travel on wheels and hired a big sedan car and also invited my brother and his family to accompany us.The trip started early in the morning as we took the national highway and had fun playing games with each other and playing music songs during the journey. Then after three hours we had a stop layover to give rest to the driver and we had bread egg breakfast at roadside restaurant.

We reached Haridwar after 4 hours and directly headed to morning prayers at the ghat and then took bath in the river.Next we reached my relatives place where we  put down suitcase and rested for two hours and then got ready for sighseeing dehradun and rafting adventure.Overall it was one of the most memorable trip for everyone and we enjoyed clicking some cool pictures and relaxing with children.

In the opening presentation by the organizer,it was told that government is trying to cover as much as areas all over india to get up the broadband connection and connect every indian over social platform so that there issues can be resolved quickly.A government employee also told about drop in rates in coming days and launch of fast internet plans over mobile phones and better connectivity. There is also possibility of private players coming together with government for this mission.

Then many key organisations held separate session discussing their common problems over internet transactions and how to make internet safe and better way of communication.
