Holi Celebrations

Holi is something I love to celebrate since my childhood.I love the color we throw at each other and try to throw colorful water on every one without thinking much about any thing. The people also enjoy getting wet on this day and dance and having drinks.I enjoy the home made sweets my mother makes for this special occassion. It is so awesome to have holiday on this day and relax plus go into childhood stage once again.Holi gives me the freedom and power to cheer myself and close ones.

Holi is known as festival of colors and people celebrate in their own way.The best holi is celebreated in Mathura and in the village where hindu god was born. This year too I had great fun with my family and many relatives came to my home.We had great get together and bonding with each other while painting each other with all kinds of colors and stuff. Then my brother started the holi famous songs from the audio player and we all were dancing for hours.

Later on in the afternoon,we were really tired but it was such a great day.I got the blessing of my grandparents too and I consider this festival as the best festival where we can play with colors with anyone without any discrimination of sex, caste or religion. We can restart and give new lease to our old relationships and this festival helps to get close to our family members.

painting entire villages, towns, and cities a myriad of intense colours. Many will be calling out this traditional Holi greeting:
